Trulieve Expands Florida Presence with Clearwater Dispensary Launch

Trulieve Cannabis Corp., one of Florida’s leading medical marijuana providers, officially opened its newest dispensary in Clearwater on September 7, 2024, further solidifying its presence in Pinellas County. Located at 2699 Roosevelt Boulevard, the new dispensary aims to provide patients with more accessible options for safe, legal cannabis therapy.

The Clearwater Roosevelt location joins a growing network of Trulieve dispensaries across Florida, offering patients expanded access to a wide selection of medical cannabis products, including flower, tinctures, edibles, vaporizers, and topicals. Trulieve’s in-house brands available at the new location include Alchemy, Co2lors, Cultivar Collection, Modern Flower, Momenta, Muse, Roll One, Sweet Talk, and Trekkers. Exclusive partner brands such as Khalifa Kush, Alien Labs, Connected Cannabis, and Seed Junky are also stocked.

The dispensary operates with patient convenience in mind, opening from 9:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sundays. It offers in-store walk-ins, express pickup, and home delivery options. These flexible services support Florida’s growing base of medical marijuana cardholders who rely on cannabis for managing a variety of conditions, including chronic pain, anxiety, PTSD, and multiple sclerosis.

To celebrate the opening, Trulieve hosted a grand opening event on September 13, complete with live music, special discounts, and educational outreach. The celebration also included an information session about the “Yes on 3” initiative, a proposed 2024 ballot measure aimed at legalizing adult-use cannabis in Florida. The event emphasized the company’s commitment to both community engagement and patient education.

“Clearwater patients now have a reliable new source for consistent, high-quality cannabis,” said a Trulieve spokesperson. “We are proud to open our doors and support this community with tailored care and product education.”

The opening is especially meaningful for medical marijuana patients in Pinellas County who may have previously faced longer travel times or limited access to preferred product lines. This location strengthens Trulieve’s efforts to provide broader healthcare support through cannabis, which has been legal for medical use in Florida since 2016.

Trulieve continues to promote patient affordability through discounts such as 20% off for veterans and 60% off for first-time customers. The company also offers loyalty rewards, rolling product drops, and online ordering for added convenience.

With this Clearwater expansion, Trulieve now operates more than 130 dispensaries across Florida, reinforcing its position as a market leader in the state’s medical cannabis program. The new site is expected to draw high foot traffic, particularly among long-term patients who value brand consistency and comprehensive offerings.

As the cannabis landscape in Florida continues to evolve, Trulieve’s latest move reflects the company’s forward-thinking approach—prioritizing patient needs, supporting local communities, and preparing for a possible shift to adult-use legalization in the near future.
